Hi! We are Grace, Sasha, Amy, and Christine - Founders of Willow River doula collective

Supporting families in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and beyond as you navigate the liminal spaces of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting.

“Amy, Sasha, Grace, and Christine were treasure troves of knowledge when it came to labour and delivery, but more importantly, they met my partner and me where we needed to be — supporting and nurturing us like the warm embrace we desperately needed and lacked during my previous birth.”

Our Services

  • Debbie is a pregnant white woman kneeling and leaning on a birth ball while laughing. She has a blue rebozo wrapped around her belly to lift the weight of her baby off her back. There is a doula standing behind her knees holding the rebozo.

Continuous care during your labour and delivery for an empowering and supported birth experience.

  • A white mother in a pink blouse is sat holding her baby in a blue shirt on her lap. Doula Amy is sat next to her leaning talking to her. Both are smiling.

Care for the entire family once your little one has arrive to ensure you and baby are eating, sleeping, and thriving.

  • Doula Christine is sat a desk with a laptop, notebook, and mug. She is holding a pelvic model to teach the cardinal movements a baby makes during the pushing phase of birth.

Community-focused prenatal education that prepares you deeply for birth and postpartum, while bringing joy to learning.

Grace is in a pink t-shirt and glasses. She has on a burnt orange ring sling and is carrying baby Sable dressed in white in the sling. Grace is looking down at the baby smiling and baby Sable has a small smile as well.

Compassionate

“I am so grateful for the birth preparation and support that Willow River Doula Collective provided us. Christine’s childbirth education and hypnosis sessions helped me unlock a new level of love and trust in my body. Sasha’s intuition and calm presence helped maintain a peaceful, safe environment during the birth of our first child at home.”

Abby M, Guelph

“Amy came in like a calm, capable force of nature and truly changed our postpartum experience. She was incredibly skilled at handling both of our twins with such confidence and care. We are forever grateful for the support we received from the Willow River Doula Collective.”
